Lowe's Summer Internship Program Overview
Lowe's 2022 Summer Internship Program offers a challenging, project-based opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to enhance their understanding of the retail business world through valuable, hands-on experience with a FORTUNE® 50 company. The summer internship program begins with orientation on May 31st and concludes on August 5th. All internships are paid opportunities. This role has potential for conversion into a full-time position for those that successfully complete their internship and required education. And qualified interns will be eligible for Lowe's housing benefit.

Areas of Learning
Be a part of helping our customers design their home like a pro - from the comfort of their home! The primary purpose of this role is to assess, support/design, implement, and roll out initiatives that support store teams with driving business results. This role will accomplish this through the development and implementation of projects, best practices, and process improvements. This role supports the day to day store operations, including sales, service, technology, Omni-channel, and store communications. As we continue to grow and develop the Virtual Sales and Design team we are introducing and integrating new technologies that allow us to meet customers in virtual environments that allow for a more efficient and effective selling process. Potential focus areas include:
  • Program Design
  • Process Mapping and Measuring
  • Data Consolidation
  • Systems Integration


Education and/or Experience:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Industrial Engineering or related field with an expected graduation date of December 2022 or May 2023
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is required
  • Proficient in MS Office Programs (specifically Word, Excel, and Power Point)
  • Strong collaborative, problem solving, analytical, communication skills, along with financial and business acumen are required
  • Relevant internship and retail experience is a plus, as is experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization
